Version: v1.0 | Effective: 2026-08-30
ParcelDossier is a property assessment service provided by Cheppers Zrt., and this document describes the procedure by which customer data is deleted; the contractual timeframe itself lives in the End User License Agreement and Terms of Service, and this procedure operates to that timeframe.
| Data | Where it comes from | Deleted on request |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment Contexts and the submitted property payloads they contain | Customer API request | yes |
Images fetched from customer-supplied Media[] URLs |
Customer request, fetched from the URLs the Customer supplies | yes |
| Generated assessments and their evidence records | Derived from the submitted payload and from public-records sources | yes |
| Per-lane processing logs, including token usage and cost | Derived during processing | yes |
| Outcome resolutions recorded against open items | Customer | yes |
| Tenant account record, including the API key prefix and the key hash | AWS Marketplace subscription and registration | yes, on account closure |
| Security audit records | System | no - retained at least 1 year |
| Billing and metering records | System and AWS Marketplace | no - retained for the period tax and accounting law requires |
| De-identified aggregate data | Derived, and irreversibly de-identified before it enters the aggregate corpus | no - contains no customer identifier |
No request is needed for the following; it happens on its own.
A Customer who simply unsubscribes therefore does not need to do anything further to have its data deleted.
Send a deletion request to product@cheppers.com.
Include the following:
A request may cover the whole account or only named assessments. A request for named assessments does not close the account and does not invalidate the account’s API credentials.
Cheppers acknowledges a deletion request within 5 business days. Acknowledgement is not completion; completion is confirmed separately under the Confirmation section below.
Deletion occurs within 30 calendar days of the later of (a) a written deletion request from the Customer and (b) the termination or expiry of the Customer’s subscription.
This is the timeframe specified in the End User License Agreement and Terms of Service, at clause 12.1 of that agreement, and it is the timeframe the obligation is tied to. This document does not set a different timeframe and cannot shorten or extend the one stated there.
Three categories of data survive a deletion carried out under the Timeframe section, and each is named here with its reason so that no Customer is misled about what “deleted” covers.
Backups are handled differently from live data. Backup copies containing deleted data are not individually purged; they age out within the backup retention window, and no deleted record is restored from a backup into live service. The backup retention window is 30 days.
Cheppers confirms completion in writing to the address the request came from. The confirmation states what was deleted and what was retained under the What is retained and why section above, so that the Customer has a record of the boundary rather than a bare assurance that deletion happened.
